1. Ution Tecnologia has evolved from a technology equipment supplier into a company focused on CCTV systems, enterprise networking, cybersecurity, and integrated ICT infrastructure for the Angolan market. Looking back at the company’s journey so far, what would you say has been the most important milestone in Ution Tecnologia’s development?
If I had to name the most crucial milestone, it would definitely be our business restructuring and service upgrade.
At the very beginning, we only supplied technological devices. But we realized that local clients needed more than just hardware — they wanted reliable, tailored and fully integrated ICT services. So we gradually expanded our business lines into Integrated Security Solutions, enterprise networks, and focused on building complete infrastructure solutions.
This turning point let us step into a new development stage. More importantly, it made us a true local partner committed to supporting the digital development of Angola. That is why I regard it as the most meaningful milestone for Ution Tecnologia.
2. Over the last few years, Ution has expanded its activities into areas such as intelligent surveillance systems, smart solutions, and enterprise digital infrastructure. How would you define Ution Tecnologia’s core business today, and which areas of the company are becoming most important right now?
Ution Tecnologia is now a professional service provider focusing on integrated security solutions and digital transformation services. Beyond basic surveillance systems, we design and implement tailored smart solutions, and build stable digital infrastructure for government institutions and enterprises.
At present, intelligent surveillance and enterprise digital infrastructure are our most important growth areas. Digital transformation has become an inevitable trend in Angola. Clients expect not only reliable security systems, but also complete digital architectures to boost operational efficiency. For this reason, we concentrate our efforts on optimizing smart security products and constructing digital infrastructure, to fully accompany our clients through every stage of digital development.
3. Ution Tecnologia currently operates with a growing technical workforce and continues expanding its presence across Angola’s enterprise and infrastructure sectors. At this stage of the company’s development, what figures or operational indicators best reflect Ution’s growth and momentum today, whether in terms of projects, workforce expansion, client demand, or business growth?
We can see our growth clearly from four major aspects: team, projects, clients and business coverage.
Our technical workforce has expanded remarkably, with more professional talents joining us to support system deployment and after-sales services. Meanwhile, we have completed a great number of integrated security and digital transformation projects nationwide, and the proportion of large-scale projects keeps going up.
Our client pool is expanding year after year, and long-term cooperative partnerships with government and enterprises have become increasingly stable. Geographically, we have expanded our business from the capital to many regions across Angola.
These tangible changes and figures are the most direct proof of our strong development moment.
4. Angola’s digital transformation is creating growing demand for cybersecurity, surveillance systems, enterprise networking, and smart infrastructure. Where are you currently seeing the strongest growth opportunities for Ution Tecnologia and for Angola’s technology sector more broadly?
Driven by national digital transformation, the biggest growth opportunities lie in three areas.
First and foremost, integrated smart surveillance and security solutions see the strongest demand, as Angola keeps upgrading public safety and critical facilities.
Secondly, enterprise digital infrastructure is booming, with government bodies and large enterprises accelerating IT upgrades and network construction.
Thirdly, vertical smart infrastructure including smart city and intelligent transport projects is gaining great momentum.
Overall, the whole tech sector is boosted by government policies and improved digital connectivity. We will keep focusing on our core strengths to seize these market opportunities.
5. Ution Tecnologia has developed partnerships with international technology providers while also strengthening its presence within Angola’s infrastructure ecosystem. Who are some of the company’s key partners today, and are you currently exploring new partnerships or collaborations to support future growth?
We maintain long-term cooperation with top international tech suppliers, who provide advanced equipment and technical support for our solutions.
Domestically, we work closely with local telecom operators, state-owned enterprises and regional partners to better adapt to local market conditions.
Moving forward, we are actively seeking new collaborations in smart infrastructure and digital service sectors, to further expand our business capabilities and explore more market potential.
6. Recently, Ution has expanded its portfolio into AI-based surveillance systems and smart security technologies designed for industrial and enterprise environments. How are automation, artificial intelligence, and digitalization changing the way Ution operates and delivers solutions to clients today?
AI, automation and digitalization have greatly upgraded our services and solutions.
We now apply intelligent technologies to build more efficient, accurate security systems for Governmental and enterprise clients. Instead of relying purely on manual monitoring, our solutions support automatic alerting and intelligent analysis, which greatly improves operational efficiency.
Internally, digital tools also streamline our project management, technical deployment and after-sales work. Overall, these technologies help us deliver smarter, more reliable and tailored services to meet clients’ evolving needs.
7. Ution Tecnologia has also emphasized technical training and local workforce development as part of its broader business model. Are there any sustainability, training, or community initiatives that the company is currently supporting as part of its long-term vision in Angola?
Talent development is a key part of our long-term commitment. We launched Angola’s first professional security training center called CIFIIA three years ago.
This year, we will further cooperate with local universities to launch extended courses, helping more young people learn about the industry and join our workforce.
Besides professional training, we also advocate eco-friendly and energy-efficient solutions to pursue sustainable development, and actively engage in community tech support activities. We aim to grow together with local communities.
8. Angola continues investing in digital infrastructure, industrial modernization, and secure enterprise systems across multiple sectors. What are Ution Tecnologia’s main priorities for the next few years in terms of expansion, innovation, new services, and long-term positioning within the market?
In the coming years, we will expand our business across more regions of Angola and explore regional markets.
We will keep innovating on AI-powered smart security and launch more digital and energy-related services.
Meanwhile, we will deepen cooperation with local universities and improve our training system. Our goal is to grow into a leading local solution provider and support the country’s digital and industrial upgrade.
